Refund policy

The Scenery Shop is a small business, with just two of us fulfilling your online orders. We carefully pack your purchases in our shops in Amsterdam and  Eindhoven, and send parcels via POSTNL points, outside of our trading hours.  For these reasons, we appreciate you being mindful when shopping with us, especially when ordering clothing. Please check the size charts provided, and feel free to contact us for more product photos and measurements if you are unsure.

In the event that you are not happy with your purchase, it's important that you let us know immediately via the phone number, email or contact form on our website. If the goods are returned to us quickly, unused and in the original packaging we are able to offer an exchange or a gift voucher with no expiry date. In some situations a refund is possible.

DISCOUNTED/ SALE ITEMS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE UNFORTUNATELY

INTIMATE ITEMS SUCH AS EARRINGS, UNDERWEAR, SWIMWEAR CAN NOT BE RETURNED TO US.

PERISHABLE ITEMS, FOOD ITEMS SUCH AS CHOCOLATE ALSO NOT POSSIBLE TO RETURN - THANKS FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING :-)

For all other products other than those above mentioned, we recommend that they are returned with protective packaging and a tracked postal service so that you are insured and there is proof of delivery. Postage is your cost and until we have received the returned goods, they remain your responsibility. Purchases that arrive back damaged or not in sellable condition can not be refunded. Not sellable condition meaning -  with pet hairs, odours, stains, scratches.

When we have agreed to a refund, please allow 7 working days for your money to be returned, via the same method of payment used when the order was originally placed. Shopify, our website provider,  will inform you when the funds have arrived back into your account. We do not refund shipping costs.
