These envelopes are made using relief printing (letterpress). Relief printing is a method where a design is made into a raised block, like a stamp, and printed onto paper under heavy pressure using a press machine.Because ink is pressed directly into the paper, each print has its own unique texture—even when using the exact same color.

Much like stamping, only one color can be printed at a time, but by combining two colors and two printing plates, we have created a wide variety of patterns. Perfect for special letters, celebratory gifts, or cash envelopes for auspicious occasions.

Dimensions (mm):

  • Pochi-bukuro (Mini Money Envelope): 64 × 97
  • Nagagata No. 4 Envelope: 90 × 205
  • Nagagata No. 3 Envelope: 120 × 235
  • Western-style Envelope: 120 × 176

Available in sets of 5 or 10. Because combining different printing plates creates countless unique designs, specific patterns cannot be selected. Due to the characteristics of relief printing, slight ink bleeding or faintness may occur. Thank you for your understanding.
